Morrison Plantation is less than 10 minutes away from Travis Pointe on Brawley School Road. Harris Teeter, a local grocery chain, anchors this shopping center. There are several dining options including Brooklyn Boys Pizza, Field of Greens Salads, and Joel’s Asian and Sushi to name a few. Numerous banks are in this area as well including Bank of America, Wells Fargo, and RBC

Across the street, Brawley Commons offers La Patisserie (excellent cafe, brunch, pastries and wedding cakes beyond compare,) Big Al’s Bar and Restaurant, Chinese, Mexican, Caruso’s (upscale Italian,) and Jersey Mike’s Subs.

Mooresville Town Square
 is also just minutes away from Travis Pointe, across the road from Morrison Plantation. Offerings include a range of dining options and specialty shops. You can find American cuisine at Indigo Joe’s and Woody’s Burger Bar, and Asian fusion at Fusion Bowl. Lowes Foods anchors this shopping center. 

Winslow Bay Commons, located at the Highway 150 and Williamson Road intersection, is less than 15 minutes from Travis Pointe. Super Target, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Michael’s, PetSmart, TJ Maxx, Pier 1 Imports, Party City and Radio Shack are just some of your shopping options. O'Charley's, Tony’s Pizza, Rice Fun, Salsarita’s and other restaurants surround this shopping center.

Mooresville Crossing is located directly across Highway 150 from Winslow Bay Commons, and is filled with dining options, big box retailers and a smattering of specialty shops. Best Buy anchors this shopping center, which also includes a Staples, PetCo, Old Navy, Ulta and HH Gregg. Chili's, Red Robin, McAllister’s Deli, Old Hickory Tavern, Dunkin’ Donuts, BluStar Grill, Panda Express and Steak-n-Shake are just some of the dining options.

Consumer Square, located off Highway 150 and I-77, on the east side of Exit 36, is anchored by WalMart, and home to GNC, Ollie’s, JoAnn Fabrics and Gander Mountain Outdoor Center, just to name a few. Applebee’s, Cici’s Pizza, and Beef O’Brady’s offer casual dining. Taco Bell, Wendy’s, Pizza Hut and numerous other fast food options are available. Moviegoers will enjoy AmStar 14 – a 14-theater multiplex cinema.

Mooresville Festival
 covers the northeast corner of Exit 36, and is located across 150 from Consumer Square. Kohl's, Belk and Maurice’s have stores here.
 
Lowe's Home Improvement Center is located on the southwest corner of the Highway 150/I-77 interchange at Exit 36, and is less than 15 minutes away from Travis Pointe.

Farther Afield (within 20-40 minutes)

Birkdale Village is a unique shopping village featuring stores such as Barnes & Noble, GAP, Talbot’s, life is good, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Victoria's Secret,  Williams-Sonoma, Hickory Farms, Total Wine, Chico’s, Starbucks and 9 restaurants, including several upscale options. Great place to spend an afternoon or take in a movie too.

Concord Mills is the largest outlet mall and number one tourist attraction in North Carolina. Its featured stores include Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World, Black Lion, Calvin Klein, Banana Republic, Off Broadway Shoe Warehouse, The LEGO Store, Bed Bath & Beyond, The Children's Place and The Disney Store Outlet, just to name a few.  There is a food court as well as movie theatres and restaurants on site. 

North Lake Mall is the newest mall in the Charlotte area and is anchored by Dillard's, Macy's and Belk. Other stores include Dick's Sporting Goods, Anthropologie, Pottery Barn, Brooks Brothers, Coldwater Creek, Coach, J. Crew, Banana Republic, Caché, Sephora, Fossil, Buckle, Sanrio and Z Gallerie. There is also an AMC 14-screen cinema, plus 150 stores and restaurants. North Lake also features a Sports Court outfitted with flat-screen TVs, a Looney Tunes Play Area, and a Coffee Court. Dining options range from the normal food court options to casual, sit-down restaurants like BRAVO! Cucina Italiana and Firebirds Wood Fired Grill. 

Dining

Jeffrey's offers “New American Cuisine.”  They pride themselves on their combination of fresh regional ingredients, with an emphasis on Southern cuisine. This is a great place for cocktails with friends, a romantic dinner or a quick business lunch. Located off Interstate 77 at Exit 33 in Mooresville Gateway Plaza. Starbucks, Dockside Deli, McDonald’s, Subway, Quizno’s and Dairy Queen complete the closest options

Big Daddy's offers fresh seafood, steak, prime rib, etc., in a unique, Nascar-themed setting. They are known for their Oyster Bar, which serves fresh oysters, raw or steamed. Located on Highway 150.

Sauza is a cozy restaurant that serves authentic Mexican dishes, and is a great place for lunch or dinner with family and friends.  

North Harbor is a waterfront restaurant locally known for its fresh, creative menu and friendly service. If you rent a boat, you can visit just a few coves away. They are open daily for lunch and dinner, and also brunch on Saturday and Sunday. Located off Exit 30 on I-77.

Epic Chophouse in downtown Mooresville offers gourmet options in a historic setting. Vast wine list and melt-in-your-mouth selections make for a truly special evening. You can then browse the picturesque Main Street shops or enjoy some music at The Bathtub Gin.
