Morrison Plantation is less than 10 minutes away from Travis Pointe on Brawley School Road. Harris Teeter, a local grocery chain, anchors this shopping center. Numerous banks are in this area as well including Bank of America, Wells Fargo, and RBC.

Mooresville Town Square is also just minutes away from Travis Pointe, across the road from Morrison Plantation. Offerings include a range of dining options and specialty shops. Winslow Bay Commons, located at the Highway 150 and Williamson Road intersection, is less than 15 minutes from Travis Pointe. Super Target, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Michael’s, PetSmart, TJ Maxx, Pier 1 Imports, Party City and Radio Shack are just some of your shopping options. O'Charley's, Tony’s Pizza, Rice Fun, Salsarita’s and other restaurants surround this shopping center.
Mooresville Crossing is located directly across Highway 150 from Winslow Bay Commons, and is filled with dining options, big box retailers and a smattering of specialty shops. Best Buy anchors this shopping center, which also includes a Staples, PetCo, Old Navy, Ulta and HH Gregg. Chili's, Red Robin, McAllister’s Deli, Old Hickory Tavern, Dunkin’ Donuts, BluStar Grill, Panda Express and Steak-n-Shake are just some of the dining options.
Consumer Square, located off Highway 150 and I-77, on the east side of Exit 36, is anchored by WalMart, and home to GNC, Ollie’s, JoAnn Fabrics and Gander Mountain Outdoor Center, just to name a few. Lowe's Home Improvement Center is located on the southwest corner of the Highway 150/I-77 interchange at Exit 36, and is less than 15 minutes away from Travis Pointe.

Birkdale Village is a unique shopping village featuring stores such as Barnes & Noble, GAP, Talbot’s, life is good, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Victoria's Secret, Williams-Sonoma, Hickory Farms, Total Wine, Chico’s, Starbucks and 9 restaurants, including several upscale options. Great place to spend an afternoon or take in a movie too.
Concord Mills is the largest outlet mall and number one tourist attraction in North Carolina. Its featured stores include Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World, Black Lion, Calvin Klein, Banana Republic, Off Broadway Shoe Warehouse, The LEGO Store, Bed Bath & Beyond, The Children's Place and The Disney Store Outlet, just to name a few. There is a food court as well as movie theatres and restaurants on site.
North Lake Mall is the newest mall in the Charlotte area and is anchored by Dillard's, Macy's and Belk. Other stores include Dick's Sporting Goods, Anthropologie, Pottery Barn, Brooks Brothers, Coldwater Creek, Coach, J. Crew, Banana Republic, Caché, Sephora, Fossil, Buckle, Sanrio and Z Gallerie. There is also an AMC 14-screen cinema, plus 150 stores and restaurants. North Lake also features a Sports Court outfitted with flat-screen TVs, a Looney Tunes Play Area, and a Coffee Court. Dining options range from the normal food court options to casual, sit-down restaurants like BRAVO! Cucina Italiana and Firebirds Wood Fired Grill.
