A quick story of human generosity… The Mother of the Bride told me that when she went into the dry cleaners to pick up the grooms dress uniform that the owner of the business told her that one of their patrons had seen the uniform hanging on the rack ready to be picked up and paid for the cleaning bill as a Thank you for serving our country. An unending THANK YOU goes out to all those people serving our country and to their families!

Thanks to everyone who came by and visited with us last night for the Chamber afterhours event! We had a great time. The food from Chef Charles catering was delicious!
The coffee and treats from Black Velvet Patisserie was yummy!
The Plush Flush was, well, plush!
And the tent from Lake Norman Party Rentals kept us all shaded in style as we relaxed with friends new and old next to the Lake!

We are proud and grateful to announce that our Sip and Smile Charity Fundraiser
and FoodFest Charity Benefit were resounding successes last weekend! With the gracious generosity of nearly 70 raffle donors and 150 participants, Travis Pointe is able to donate almost $2,000 to Little Smiles.
Team Travis Pointe would like to thank everyone who came out to support the kids, and those who donated wine, raffle items and services. We couldn't have done it without you!

History of Lake Norman:
Duke Power's man-made lake was completed in 1963.
Lake Norman covers 32,510 acres with 520 miles of shoreline.
It resides in four counties - Catawba, Lincoln, Iredell, and Mecklenburg.
"I had the pleasure of staying at Travis Pointe this past weekend with 7 of my dearest girl friends. it was the perfect getaway location for pampering 8 old ladies!! we all traveled for a long, much needed weekend. the inclement weather actually adding to the relaxing environment. oh, and did I forget to mention the bedding!!?? wow, what an experience. from pillows, to sheets, luxury at its best. we will definitely book for next year."

Loved it! Loved it! Loved it! Best family vacation! Relaxed on Thanksgiving and enjoyed the gorgeous sunset. House is sooo comfortable and kids want to take the furry blankets home with them. Just walking along the lake and the paths in the woods was so enjoyable. Had two great fire pit sessions with marshmallows. One of the best family reunions we've ever had! The kitchen is beautiful and very complete. Next time (and I hope it's soon), I'm bringing my music and spending quality time with your gorgeous piano. You two are so sweet.
